Optimizing spaces with MAJORELLE

A few questions about the MAJORELLE Agency and its Cofounder

Could you introduce yourself and say a few words about your job?

"Ok, in a few words, Lucy BAKLI and I created the MAJORELLE Agency in 1985. We are specialized in service-sector design, development and amenities: we design or redesign amenities, layouts, we restructure for leading groups, mainly in the Paris region, a few head offices in the provinces but most of our activity is based in the Paris area, where economic challenges are the greatest. The agency focuses on finding organizational and design concepts to make spaces highly-efficient".

Could you tell us about the Agency? What are its activities and projects?

"As regards our activities, of course we need to take into account the m²-saving aspect, optimizing spaces as well as implementing and developing working tools which are intended to provide optimized features, decors, contexts, a working environment which is as pleasant as possible.  With all this in mind, the BICLASS answered our requirements pretty well".

BICLASS

How would you describe the BICLASS?

"We started working with the BICLASS over 15 years ago and every time we were faced with quite complex, delicate developments where it was vital to optimize space yet retain style, we used ELECTROCLASS BICLASS. I remember, in particular, the last project, which was a major one because it was the in the FIRST TOWER, which we redesigned for EULER HERMES and ERNST & YOUNG, and BICLASS offered us a centralized, mutualized filing solution which we needed to support our space re-engineering where individualized filing had to be kept to a minimum, and even virtually disappear, in favour of mutualized filing.

So we had central filing repositories which had to be equipped as effectively as possible and this was where the BICLASS offered us a solution via its m²-saving and double access. I believe it's a solution to be used in particular for mutualized, centralized filing".

Could you tell us more about BICLASS design, its style?

"The BICLASS pivoting cabinet strong point is also that it is stylish.  We are known for our high-quality design so style comes greatly into play and with BICLASS, there's a whole range of finishes, of wood veneers, which enabled us to match spaces together and, in this case, it's better to have a bit of help, because it's best to be aware of any little issues, little traps which may exist, to ensure we implement and choose the best solutions."
